Rollator

What’s the difference between a rollator and a walker? A Rollator is basically a walker with four wheels. Many rollators have built in seats and other extra features. Rollators have brakes and the front wheels usually swivel making it easier to change direction when walking. Most rollators will either have 6″ wheels or 8″ wheels. The larger wheels are better if you will be maneuvering over rough surfaces or outdoors.
Rollators allow you the freedom and peace of mind of being able to get around comfortably and are a good option for those who cannot lift a non-wheeled walker off the ground. Rollators are often recommended for those who are able to stand up but need some help with their balance.
